Millenia ago, a meteorite formed from the remnants of a dying planet similar to the Feywilds stuck the planet of {{world}}, shattering into pieces in the atmosphere and embedding into various spots of the world. The material within this foreign invader converted to crystal in the harsh heat of the atmosphere, turning into large crystals, energetically aligned with Fey magic. These crystals pierced both the material plane and the Feywilds, serving as anchor points for both realms.
One day, an Archfey discovered that these crystals served as weakpoints between the realms, allowing Fey influence to bleed through into the Material Plane. So using his abilities, he shattered the Planar divides around the crystals, using them as conduits to blend the two worlds together.
Currently, each continuent and sea on the Material Plane are dealing with a sudden influx of Fey magic and creatures, rapidly shifting {{world}} into a realm of chaos.
